Raw Materials & Color Matching
At The Jacket Craft, we are a clothing manufacturing facility—not a leather tannery. Our leather is sourced from the finest domestic and international suppliers, stored in a climate-controlled warehouse to maintain optimal conditions.
Leather Cutting
On our factory floor, we can produce up to 7 styles of jackets simultaneously. Leather cutting is done by hand using precise patterns to ensure each panel is cut consistently. The process relies on razor-sharp blades and the experienced hands of our cutters, who are well-versed in understanding the strength variations of leather.
Detail Cutting
We use a 25-ton Herman Schwabe die-cutting machine to cut smaller details such as pockets, epaulets, and flaps. The die-cutting machine ensures precise and consistent detailing on every jacket.
Stitching and Assembly
Once the leather panels are cut, they are stitched together with precision to form the jacket’s structure. Skilled artisans use industrial sewing machines to join the panels securely, ensuring that the stitching is both strong and neat. This process involves adding the inner lining, attaching any zippers or fasteners, and reinforcing the seams for long-lasting durability.
Hardware Details
Depending on the design of the jacket, stars, snaps, and other hardware are punched into the garment. This step involves adding the final touches to the jacket, marking its transformation from a raw garment to a stylish, finished product.
Final Inspection
Before the jacket is approved for sale, it undergoes a rigorous final inspection. Every detail, from stitching to hardware functionality, is checked. If the jacket passes, it is tagged, numbered, and officially becomes part of The Jacket Craft collection.
Stock & Shipping
Once the jacket is approved, it is carefully packaged and moved to the warehouse, ready for shipping.
